![]() I have no doubt I will need to learn new things in order to make this work and I am willing to do that, but Qmovement seems to be for people who know what their doing and then some, I like to think I know what I'm doing, but not to the extent I need to be to use this plug. My main issue/question is this: Is there a simple mod that lets me achieve that freedom of movement, without requiring me to throw everything I currently know about RPG maker out the window? PLUS Qmovement doesn't work well with followers, which I plan on having in my game. I've taken a look at them and they seem wicked complicated, plus the fact that it seems like I'll have to take into account how different movements for NPCs and transfers to different maps will be. In the comments the guy who made the video said he was using a lot of Quxios mods, I imagine he was using Qmovement and his colliders. Something like this video here: (He follows the grid a lot but he does move diagonally a bit FYI) I'm wanting to have a tall sprite being able to freely move diagonally in the parallax map rather then being restricted to the grid. From what I've researched these are an entirely different beast then anything I've dealt with so far, I believe I have what it takes to make them, however the biggest issue lies in the movement. EDIT: as for the quality of the map parallax mapping is NOT an automatic 'make maps good' wish - quite on the contrary. Currently planning on making a game, and for the first time I'll be tackling parallax maps. OK, lets click NEW and make a decent sized map, lets do 640x480. perhaps you should start by explaining what exactly you mean by 'line up', because the entire purpose of parallax mapping is to abandon the grid and have things NOT lined up. ![]()
